
Jason Statham persiste et signe. "En eaux troubles" caracole en tête du box office Mondial grâce à son très bon score aux USa, en Chine et au Mexique. On imaginait pas le film à pareille fête et le score assez imprévisible avant la sortie du film de 500 millions de dollars est possible.
En deuxième place, la présence d'un film Chinois est devenu habituel et "The island" est toujours bien solidement implanté sur son propre marché.
"Hôtel transylvania 3" a rapporté autant dans son week-end chinois que le second épisode dans toute sa carrière. Une bonne nouvelle pour SONY car fonctionner en Chine n'a rien d'évident pour un film d'animation. Du coup le film remonte à la troisième marche du podium et va sans doute atteindre les scores du second épisode. C'est la seconde recette mondiale pour un film d'animation derrière "Les indestructibles 2" (très loin devant) de quoi donner le sourire au distributeur. Il ne fait aucun doute qu'un 4ème épisode sera mis en chantier.
"Mission impossible" passe la barre des 500 millions de dollars. Il ne manque plus qu'une belle recette en Chine à partir du 31 et le film aura passé une confortable carrière.
Il n'aura échappé à personne que le film numéro un du week-end aux USA est une comédie romantique. Ah, et puis il est réalisé par un Chinois avec un casting uniquement composé d'asiatiques. Il n'en faut pas plus pour que la presse américaine et internationale (il faut lire les journaux français) se pâment devant ce miracle de la diversité. Le film coche toutes les bonnes cases (l'idéal serait qu'il y ait aussi quelques homosexuels dans le film et ce serait parfait. Bon, personnellement observant le cinéma asiatique et son box office depuis des années cela me laisse un peu froid mais tant mieux si cela attire des curieux dans les salles. Nous verrons bien si le public français prompt à s’esbaudir se rendra dans les salles lorsqu'il sortira en France ? Chiche ? Le film est vu par 68% de femmes dans les salles US et curiosité, le film n'est sorti dans aucune salles asiatique. ce n'est que le week-end prochain que le film sortira à Hong Kong, Singapour, Taiwan et en Malaysie. J'avoue être curieux de savoir comment va être accueilli se film Chinois à la mode US.
